2007: Made 25 appearances for the Spartans with eight starts... in his 34 at-bats he collected seven runs, five hits, a double, three RBI, and six total bases... logged a season-high two RBI in the 7-2 win over Cornell (Mar. 21)... went 1-for-1 with a run scored and an RBI in the 12-6 victory over North Carolina A&T (Apr. 3)... member of the 2007 Chancellor’s List, Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society, and SoCon Honor Roll... four-year member of the UNCG Dean’s List... member of the 2007 Athletic Director’s Honor Roll.
2006: Recorded a .245 batting average on 24 hits in 98 at bats... started 26 games and appeared in 40 for the Spartans... tallied 14 runs batted in and 10 walks... had a career high 3 RBI and was 2-for-3 in the 8-7 victory over High Point (Feb. 21)... went 1-for-3 with two RBI in a 6-1 win over Kent State (Mar. 10)... was a perfect 3-for-3 with one RBI against Georgia Southern (Apr. 23)... recorded two RBI in the 5-4 win over Furman (May 25).
2005: Started 17 and appeared in 29 games for UNCG during freshman campaign... logged a .259 batting average while collecting five RBI... did not commit an error in 46 total chances in the field... recorded his first career hit at N.C. State (Mar. 1)... went 2-for-4 with one RBI in 6-2 win over East Tennessee State (Mar. 25)... went 2-for-4 with an RBI double in 11-4 victory over Appalachian State (May 15).
High School: Earned three varsity letters at
Myers Park High School for head coach Les Demming... All-Southwestern 4A Conference selection... North Carolina State Games participant... helped the Mustangs to the 2003 regular season and tournament league crowns... also earned three varsity letters in football at the quarterback position.
