2008: Started in 57 of 60 games as an outfielder in 2008...posted a .286 batting average on 64 hits in 224 at bats...had his best game of the season against Western Carolina (3/29) where he went 3-4 with a homerun, three RBI, two runs and one walk...had four RBI against Wofford (4/12) after hitting a triple and homerun...hit 15 doubles and scored 35 runs...had an on base percentage of .388 and a .420 slugging percentage...drew a season-high four walks against Western Carolina (3/30).

 

Prior to UNCG

Pima CC (2006-07): Played two years for the Aztec under coach Edgar Soto... made it to the sophomore all-star team in the fall of 2006 and in 2007 he was selected to the all-Arizona Community College Athletic Conference second-team as an outfielder... also named to the all-region first-team and the Division I second-team.

 

Summer Ball: In the summer of 2008 for the Casa Grande Cotton Kings of the Pacific Southwest League  in Casa Grande, AZ.

 

High School: 2005 graduate of Pueblo High School in Tucson, AZ... four-time letterwinner for coach Fred Trujillo... during his four years with the Warriors he was a first-team all-state and all-region selection...  selected to the 4A all-star game and the 4A Super 50 game... also played four years on the soccer team as a sweeper where he earned first-team, all-state, and all-region honors.

 

Personal: Pedro Pablo Leon... born May 26, 1987... son of Pedro Sr. and Ines Leon of Tucson, AZ... has two sisters Amalia (25) and Vanessa (23) and two brother, Marvin (1) and Malik (1)... majoring in exercise and sports science at UNCG.
