2020 (Senior)
Played in all but one of the Spartans' 16 games, making 14 starts on the year ... gunned down a team-high five base runners on the year ... went 2-for-4 against Virginia Tech (2.15) driving in a single run ... had back-to-back knocks against San Diego State (2.16) and Fairfield (2.22) ... had a pair of walks in during game two of that series with the Stags (2.22) ... drove in a single run on a sac fly in game three of that series (2.23) ... went 1-for-2 with a walk at No. 25 North Carolina (3.3) ... drove in a season-high three runs to open the series against Maryland Eastern Shore (3.6), scoring two runs and gong 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles ... had another two doubles in the Spartans' final game at High Point (3.10), crossing home plate twice.
2019 (Junior)
Wrapped up the season ranked in the top five of three major statistical categories including sacrifice flies (t-1st-4), home runs (t-1st-6), walks (3rd-22) and RBI (t-3rd-28) … one of five Spartans to start at least 50 games, including Caleb Webster, Josh Madole, Austin Embler and Jacquez Koonce … had 10 multi-hit games over the course of the season, including a 2-for-4 outing that resulted in two RBI and a double in the season-opener against Quinnipiac (Feb. 15) … closed out a solid performance against High Point (Feb. 19) by finishing 2-for-5 with three RBI, two runs and a home run … finished 2-for-4 from the plate at Virginia Tech (Feb. 25) … ended the first meeting against Wake Forest (Feb. 27) as he went 2-for-4 … capped off the second game of a series with Jacksonville (March 15), finishing 1-for-2 with three RBI … had a grand slam home run against N.C. A&T (March 19), finishing 1-for-3 with four RBI … capped off a win over Wake Forest (March 26) by going 2-for-5 with a pair of runs … enjoyed a home run while going 2-for-4 with an RBI and two runs against Furman (April 6) … wrapped up the opening game of the series against Samford (April 18) by going 2-for-4 … emerged with two hits, two runs and three RBI in a clash with Elon (April 23) … smacked his fifth home run of the season, finishing 1-for-2 with three RBI from the plate against Wofford (May 17) … closed out the season with a 2-for-4 performance that resulted in two RBI and a home run against Mercer (May 24) in the SoCon Baseball Championship.
2018 (Sophomore)
Played in 21 games making 16 starts behind the plate … Hit for a .294 average with five extra base hits … Drove in 12 runs and scored seven times, slugging .392 on the season … Recorded a perfect fielding percentage and threw out six attempted base stealers … Three multi-hit games and four multi-RBI contests … Season-long five-game hit streak and reached base in six-straight games … Went 3-for-4 with an RBI and scored twice in his Division I debut against Oakland (Feb. 20) … Logged another multi-hit game in a 2-for-2 performance with two doubles and a run scored in a win over Mercer (May 6) … Was a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI and scored twice in the SoCon Tournament against VMI (May 24) … Drove in a season-high three runs against Lafayette (Mar. 10) … Drove in two runs against Lipscomb (Mar. 16) … Drove in two more runs in the second game of the series against Western Carolina (Apr. 8) … Stolen base in the first game of the season against Oakland (Feb. 20) … Season-high 13 putouts against Elon (Mar. 7) and Lipscomb (Mar. 16).
Prior to UNCG
Competed for one season with the Guilford Tech Titans… Helped Guilford Tech earn a 30-22 record and 15-8 at home… Hit for a .371 average, leading the team with 14 home runs… Added 11 doubles and a triple en route to earning All-Conference accolades… Threw out nine runners attempting to steal, and earned a .990 fielding percentage.
Was a three-time All-Conference selection at Southern Guilford… Named conference Player of the Year as a senior and set the school record for single season RBI with 38 in his final campaign… As a senior, he hit at a .405 average with nine doubles, two triples and four home runs… As a junior, hit at a .439 clip, connecting on 10 doubles, a triple and five home runs… Sophomore season hit at a .389 average with six doubles and a pair of home runs… He was a member of the national Honor Society and was a member and officer in his FFA chapter.

He is the son of LeAnn Pearce and Eric Caveness and is majoring in business administration.
