2007: Appeared in and started all 60 games his first season as a Spartan... led the team in runs scored (55), hits (91), total bases (125), stolen bases (17), and at-bats (260)... he is now tied with Dominic Pattie for UNCG’s top single-season at-bat record... he joins four other Spartans for the sixth most games played in one season... third on the single-season hit list... tied for ninth in total bases in a season... he finished second on the team with 163 assists... Carrier finished second on the team with a .350 average, 31 RBI, 12 doubles, two triples, and six homeruns... went 4-for-5 with four hits, three RBI, and two homeruns in the 14-2 win over Davidson (Mar. 24)... ranked fifth in the Southern Conference in hits and sixth in total bases

2005-2006: A two-year starter at Irvine Valley College in Irvine, CA for head baseball coach Kent Madole... played third base, shortstop and second base for the Lasers... saw time in 36 of 43 games in 2006 and started 31 contests... was the team’s top hitter, finishing with a .317 (40-of-126) batting average with eight doubles, five triples and 24 RBI for a club that finished the year with a 17-26 record... was second on the team with a .460 slugging percentage and had six stolen bases... hit .329 in Orange Empire Conference play with seven doubles, two triples and 12 RBIs... Carrier helped the 2005 Irvine Valley team to its best ever season (27-15) and made the playoffs for the first time in program history... he batted .278 (37-of-133) with six doubles, nine RBIs and 11 stolen bases.
Summer Ball: Played the summer of 2006 for the Havasu (AZ) Heat under coach Rick “Chief” Tyman... earned National Baseball Congress All-American honors as a second baseman.
High School: Four-year varsity baseball standout at Northwood High School in Irvine, CA for coach Rob Stuart... named city MVP... selected All-CIF twice and all-league three times... also played varsity football three years for the Timberwolves... played three years of summer ball with OC Dawgs/OC Crush for coach Dan Espinose.
