Redshirt Freshman Season (2009): Appeared in six games out of the bullpen during his second season with the Spartans ... pitched two innings against Kent State (2/22) where he allowed just one hit and no earned runs while striking out three ... allowed no runs and no hits against Samford (3/28) ... struck out five while allowing only two walks.

Freshman Season (2008): Redshirted the 2008 season.

Summer Ball: Played the summer of 2009 for coach Derek Shoe and the Lake Norman Copperheads in Lake Norman, N.C.

High School: 2007 graduate of West Forsyth High School in Clemmons, N.C. ... played four years and earned two varsity letters for the Titans under coach Randy Pope as a pitcher ... in 2007, was selected to the all-county team and the East-West games ... Titans were the 2007 Conference Champions ... appeared in the 2006 State Games.
