2007: Appeared in 16 games for the Spartans, used primarily in a relief pitching role last season... in his 18.1 innings on the mound, he garnered an 8.84 ERA and tallied 17 strikeouts... ranked fifth on the team with 16 games in relief... collected a season-high three strikeouts in games against Auburn (Feb. 17), Marist (Feb. 24), and Cornell (Mar. 21).
2006: Started in 45 games and had 46 appearances as a infielder and a pitcher for UNCG... finished sixth on the squad with a .260 batting average on 39 hits in 150 at bats... recorded 17 RBI and four doubles... second on the team in walks (35) and third in on-base percentage (.403)... tallied a 1-7 overall record and had seven starts on the mound... struck out 26 hitters and only allowed 15 walks... went 5-for-6 with one RBI and a triple in a two-game sweep of Princeton (Mar 21-22)... tallied one RBI and was 2-for-4 in a 3-2 victory over College of Charleston (Mar. 24)... went 2-for-3 with two RBI in the 20-10 triumph over Appalachian State (Apr. 7)... had two RBI in the 7-6 win over No. 3 North Carolina (Apr 18).
2005: Went 5-3 with a 4.63 earned run average in a team-leading 30 appearances on the hill... the 30 appearances is tied for the 10th most in a single-season at UNCG... struck out 61 hitters while allowing 28 base on balls... tied for the lead on the squad with six saves... earned his first collegiate win in a relief role against Delaware (Feb. 19)... struck out a season-high six hitters in a 10-5 win at North Carolina A&T (Feb. 22)... recorded his first save in an 8-6 win over Ohio (Mar. 6)... hurled three hitless innings with five punchouts in a 6-3 victory over Appalachian State (May 13)... notched his first career hit and RBI in a 1-for-2 showing against Ohio (Mar. 6).
Summer Ball: Played the summer of 2007 for the Coastal Plain League Champion Thomasville (NC) Hi Toms as a pitcher and first baseman.
High School: Earned four varsity letters at Ashbrook High School under head coach James Parks... set new school record with 13 wins in a season... holds Gaston County record for most base hits... all-state selection... two-time conference MVP and four-time All-Big South 3A Conference honoree... All-Gaston Gazette and Charlotte Observer in 2003 and 2004.
