Played in all 31 games (one of three Spartans to do so) with 13 starts... averaged 4.1 ppg in his first season at the Division I level... enjoyed his best game of the season at South Carolina, scoring 15 points on 6-of-7 shooting from the floor, and grabbing four rebounds... followed that up with 11 points and five rebounds against College of Charleston... had nine points and six rebounds in a season-high 26 minutes in his UNCG debut against UW-Green Bay... grabbed a season-high eight rebounds in a win over Greensboro College... played double-figure minutes in 21 of 31 games.

Genesee Junior College

Averaged a double-double each of the last two years at Genesee Junior College in New York for head coach Michael von Shiller... was named scholar-athlete at Genesee CC last year.

Bart Tooms... born April 26, 1983 in Amsterdam... son of Klaas and Alie Tooms... played for various club teams in his homeland before coming to the United States... majoring in sociology at UNCG... has a web-cam in his dorm room that allows him to communicate with his family in Europe on a daily basis.
