UNC Greensboro

Tripp Pendergast enters his second season serving as the Director of Men’s Basketball Opeartions at UNC Greensboro.

Pendergast is a 2005 graduate of Wake Forest University, where he earned a degree in business. A native of Atlanta, GA, he attended the Marist School where he played golf and ran cross country.

Pendergast, 24, is responsible for many of the day-to-day operations of the men’s basketball program. He coordinates basketball travel plans, practice and weight lifting schedules, film exchange as well as assisting in on campus recruiting efforts and scouting. Pendergast also oversees the team managers and ball boy program.

Pendergast serves as the main coordinator and assistant director for the UNCG Boys’ Basketball Team Camp. He also directed the UNCG Boys’ Basketball Camp and has worked a number of other camps including Wake Forest, Georgia Tech and Campbell.

Prior to arriving at UNCG, Pendergast previously served as the Athletics Assistant for Media Relations at Wake Forest, where he served as the primary contact for women’s soccer, women’s golf, cross country and track and field. He also assisted in the coverage of men’s basketball and traveled with the team on various road trips and served on the statistical crew for the ACC Men’s Basketball tournament.
