2006: Earned All-Tournament honors at Southern Conference Tournament for his outstanding defensive play, helping the Spartans to three shutouts in three matches... was named the team's Freshman of the Year... played much of the season with his right forearm wrapped due to a pre-season injury...appeared in 24 matches during his rookie campaign with 18 starts... named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll...

Prior to UNCG: Product of North Mecklenberg HS... team won 25 in a row before losing to Betts' Apex squad in the state title game his senior year... Conference Player of the Year as a junior and twice earned all-state honors... nominee for the Wendy's High School Heisman... also was a member of the State and Regional ODP squads, was an ODP Regional All-Star and participated in the MLS Combine last year... also played in the East-West All-Star Game at UNCG in July 2006..
