2008 Season: Saw signicant time as a reserve in his rookie season... appeared in 14 matches... recorded his first career point in an assist against East Tennessee State on Sept. 12.. earned Dean's List honors...

Prior to UNCG: All-state selection at Hibriten HS... was named the MVP of the North Carolina East-West All-Star Game (played at UNCG)... also ran track at Hibriten and placed fifth in the 800 meters at the state championships... member of ODP program and played for Charlotte Soccer Club, which won the Super Y national title...

Personal: Sven Mark Picton... born January 5, 1990... son of David and Jarma Stevens and Mark and Kim Picton.... majoring in exercise and sports science at UNCG.
