Played and started in 39 games for UNCG…Led the Spartans with a .512 slugging percentage…Batted .287 (37-for-129) with 15 doubles, one triple and four home runs…Totaled 94 assists and 41 putouts in 141 chances…Posted a .957 fielding percentage and played 33 games played without committing an error…Had a hand in 10 of the Spartans' 29 double plays.

2024 (Sophomore)
Played in 11 games and made seven starts as a sophomore…Recorded first collegiate home run on March 17 at South Florida and then added a second for first career multi-homer game…Posted a .591 slugging percentage and .357 on-base percentage.

2023 (Freshman)
Appeared in 20 games and made one start…Recorded seven at bats with six runs…Appeared on the mound twice during the season….Finished the season with a .571 fielding percentage.

Prior To UNCG
Attended Sun Valley High School and was a three-year varsity starter...Voted honorable mention all-conference as a junior and was voted first team all-conference and league MVP as a senior... Voted Union County MVP and first team All -Charlotte by the Charlotte Observer in final year...Tied for the league lead in home runs and posted a 0.72 ERA as a closer in senior year...Played travel ball for the On Deck O’s, Five Star Carolina, South Charlotte Braves and Carolina Vipers...Selected by Perfect Game as a 2022 and 2021 Atlantic Region honorable mention and was ranked in the top 500 nationally…Was a member of the Region 6 Powerade State Games gold medal team.

Son of Tom and Pam Budzik…Older brother, Zack, also played baseball at UNCG…Majoring in Finance and was awarded the Bryant School Blue and Gold Merit Scholarship as well as a Parker Scholarship.
