Jaida Scott joined UNCG women's soccer as an assistant coach in February 2024.
Scott joins the Spartans after one year as a director of operations for the women's soccer team at the University of Miami (Florida) in the ACC. There, she handled all aspects of the program, including travel, schedules, ID clinics, and worked with support staff on official visits, onboarding new student-athletes, and collecting sport science data.
Scott was the head coach of the 09 ECNL-R FC Prime in Sunrise, Florida for two seasons, as well one season as an assistant coach. She was also an individual development and personal training soccer coach, as well as an intern with two physical therapy offices and Barry University's men's soccer team.
Prior to her time with the Hurricanes, Scott began her time as a women's soccer student-athlete at the University of Central Florida. She then transferred to Barry University and was voted to Sunshine State All-Conference second team. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Sport and Exercise Science from Barry in 2022.
A native of Plantation, Florida, Scott then went on to pursue her Master of Science in Sport Science at Nova Southeastern University and completed her degree in December 2023. During her time as a Shark, she was named to the United Soccer Coaches All-South Region second team.
