High School: Played for years at A&M Consolidated High School where she earned two varsity letters for coach Cydrice McMillian … earned honorable mention all-district honors as a senior … helped lead her team to a district championship and a No. 5 ranking in the 5A division … played club volleyball for the Brazos Valley Volleyball Club for coach Jackie Pence … also earned two varsity letters in basketball and track & field.

Club: Played two seasons for the Brazos Valley Junior Volleyball Club, led by coaches Joe Lind and Patrick Keltner … her team won the Mid-East Qualifier in Baltimore, Md. in 2009.

Personal: Karrian LeShay Chambers … born May 12, 1992 in College Station, Texas … daughter of Jacqueline Chambers … Has two older siblings, Jeremy and Carla, who played soccer at Oklahoma Christian University … majoring in biology at UNCG.
