Polk CC (2008-09): Played one season at Polk Community College in Winter Park, Fla. for coach Jim Arnold ... led the team with a .331 batting average ... was named second-team All-Suncoast for his efforts ... also earned second-team all-state junior college honors ... hit eight home runs and had 38 RBI on the year.

Wingate University (2007-08): Played one year at Wingate University in Wingate, N.C. for coach Allen Osborne before transferring to Polk CC ... made 17 starts after seeing time in 23 contests ... hit .261 on the year with 15 RBI and 12 runs scored ... had a .493 slugging percentage after hitting four doubles and four home runs.

Summer Ball: Played this past season for the Winter Park Diamond Dawgs in Winter Park, Fla. for coach Kenny Brown.

High School: Earned three varsity letters in four seasons for coach Kim Cousar at Butler High School ... earned all-conference and all-region honors during his four years ... helped lead his team to a regular season and tournament title as a senior ... also named to the All-Charlotte Observer team ... holds the school record for the most RBI in a season with 35.
