GREENSBORO, N.C. – After having this weekend's home series with Bucknell cancelled, the UNCG baseball team will instead travel to East Carolina this weekend to participate in the Keith LeClair Classic in Greenville, N.C.

The Spartans will take on the host Pirates, No. 24 Liberty and St. John's during the two-day event. UNCG begins the weekend with a pair of games Saturday – facing ECU at Noon and the nationally ranked Flames at 7 p.m. before closing out things Sunday at 11 a.m. versus the Red Storm. Michigan was originally supposed to take part in the tourney, but travel concerns prompted the Wolverines to pull out.

Following this weekend's contests, the Blue and Gold returns home Tuesday for the first of a home-and-home set with ACC member Duke. First pitch at the UNCG Baseball Stadium is slated for 4 p.m.
