GREENSBORO, N.C. – Wintry weather continues to alter the UNCG baseball team's 2015 schedule as the effects of winter storm Remus has forced school officials to cancel the Spartans' series against Akron.

The Blue and Gold was to host the Zips in a three-game series at the UNCG Baseball Stadium, but the Spartans are now looking to play elsewhere. Fans should monitor www.uncgspartans.com and the team's official Twitter accounts @uncgbaseball/@uncgsports.

UNCG is next scheduled to host Wake Forest Tuesday, March 3 at the UNCG Baseball Stadium. First pitch is slated for 4 p.m.
