GREENSBORO, N.C. – UNC Greensboro men's basketball will return to the court on Tuesday evening when the Spartans host Greensboro College at the Greensboro Coliseum.
Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. and the game will be streamed on the SoCon Digital Network.
Five Facts To Know
--The Spartans are off to their best start through seven games in program history at 6-1. When UNCG defeated Delaware last Friday, it marked only the fourth 5-1 start in program history. But unlike the previous four 5-1 starts when the Spartans lost their seventh game of those respective seasons, UNCG was able to knock off a tough Louisiana Tech team to move to 6-1 on the season.
--UNCG will be looking for a program record 13th straight home victory on Tuesday night. Last week, the Spartans tied a program-record with its 12th consecutive home victory when they defeated Prairie View A&M. Through this past weekend's action, UNCG's 12-game home winning streak is tied for the eighth longest in Division I right now.
--If the Spartans are able to defeat Greensboro College their current winning streak will extend to six games, which would be tied for the fifth longest streak in program history.
--Senior guard Francis Alonso's hot shooting continued through the Delaware Invitational this past weekend, as the Malaga, Spain, native is averaging 19.5 points per game and has led the Spartans in scoring in six of their first seven games this year. He's scored at least 16 points in every game this season.
--Greensboro College enters the game with a 1-4 record on the season, as the Pride knocked off Guilford College in their season opener but have since lost their last four games.

Along with Alonso leading the team in scoring, junior forward James Dickey is currently averaging eight points and eight rebounds per contest while fellow junior forward Kyrin Galloway is averaging 14.5 points per game.

Tuesday's game will be the 61st all-time meeting between the two schools, with UNCG holding a 31-29 advantage. The Spartans have won the last 14 matchups dating back to the 1984-85 season.
