GREENSBORO, N.C. -- A six-foot guard,
A.J. Williams played for national prep power Oak Hill Academy and head coach Steve Smith. Williams played in 24 games for Oak Hill last season and averaged 14.4 points.
He scored in double figures 13 times and had a season-high 27 points against Bull City Prep. Williams also scored 24 points against Virginia Prep Sports Academy in his first game for Oak Hill.
Now, he's excited to make an impact for the Spartans this upcoming season. Get to know him a little more in advance of UNCG's season opener against North Carolina A&T at the Greensboro Coliseum on Tuesday, Nov. 9.
