It's A Biggie! 16th-Ranked UNCG Visits Belmont in SoCon Showdown

GREENSBORO, N.C. – It's the biggest match of the 2021 UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's soccer season. Mostly, because it's the next one on the schedule.

Let's be real though, this matchup against Belmont most likely will determine the No. 1 seed and Southern Conference's regular season championship. This is a rematch of the dramatic SoCon tournament title match, won by UNCG 1-0, earlier this spring.

This is definitely a matchup of an irresistible force against an unmovable object when these conference foes collide in Music City for a Saturday night showdown. This is the toughest test by far for the Spartans during the 2021 season.

Belmont is good, motivated, and determined to extend its five-match winning streak and remain unbeaten at home this season.

It's a challenge that excites the Spartans. One they are embracing.

You see, UNCG enters with some impressive credentials as well.
