QUOTES FROM TRINA PATTERSON
"We played well 75% of the game. I think we played them even in the second half. Our defense was tremendous, the third quarter was tremendous. I think our youth, especially Isys [Grady] almost getting a double-double and showing her confidence, was great. We're getting better with our interior game. Anytime you can have a solid interior game, it'll come. We just have to do a better job of making threes. We just have to be able to drive. I think this will help us for the conference and this will help us get better. This is a win-win situation for us."
UPCOMING
The Spartans will come home and host a two-game series this Thursday and Sunday. They will face the Winthrop Eagles on Thursday at 7 p.m. and then Lenoir-Rhyne on Sunday at 2 p.m. Both games will be inside of Fleming Gym.
