Quotable
UNCG Head Coach Mike Jones on what takeaways he has following Saturday's game.
"What we have to take from this is if we can be poised enough and tough enough—toughness is not just physically toughness, it's mental toughness and emotional toughness—then our stuff translates. We can carry that no matter where we go or who we play against. Tonight, we showed it in small segments. We've got to be able to do that night in and night out for 40 minutes or however long we get to play. I hope that the guys will understand that tonight was a night where we didn't do those things. This is the result that we got. Regardless of how good they are or what conference they're in, or anything like that, we're capable of being us on any given night. We can't allow other teams to force us not to be ourselves."
