Terron Joins Women's Basketball Program

GREENSBORO, N.C. – UNC Greensboro (UNCG) head women's basketball coach Trina Patterson has announced the signing of Anna Terron, a 5 foot, 9 inch guard from Tarragona, Spain, who played the last two years at Laramie County Community College in Wyoming.
 
Terron played in 53 career games for Laramie County Community College. She averaged 6.2 points, shot 36.3 percent from 3-point distance, made 41 3-pointers, and handed out 118 assists.
 
This past season, Terron scored in double figures in eight games with a season-high of 15 points against Northwest College. In helping LCCC qualify for the Region IX tournament, Terron handed out a season-best eight assists in that same game. Terron averaged 7.2 points per game, 4.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.1 steals.
 
Terron played in 31 games, making 21 starts as a freshman during the 2019-20 season. She averaged 5.5 points per game and 1.7 assists per game. Terron scored seven points off the bench in her collegiate debut against McCook. She made first career start against Midland and scored a career-high 19 points in a 78-59 win over Northwest.
 
A decorated student while attending Ins Marti i Franques High School in Spain, Terron earned honors for best research project of the department of science and technology and best grade point average. She is a two-time presidential award winner in high school.
