UNCG Announces 2021-22 Men's Golf Schedule

GREENSBORO, N.C. – A home tournament and a trip to Puerto Rico highlight the 2021-22 UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's golf schedule released by head coach Terrance Stewart Saturday afternoon. CLICK FOR COMPLETE SCHEDULE

"Our schedule this season once again has many Power 5 events which will allow us to play an elite "National Schedule," Stewart said.  "We will be hosting our three events once again with the Grandover Collegiate in Greensboro, the Advance Golf Partners Collegiate in Palm City, Florida and the Dorado Beach Collegiate in Dorado, Puerto Rico.  Our schedule will prepare us for the NCAA Post Season in May."

UNCG will begin the season at the Rod Myers Invitational in Durham, North Carolina on September 11 and 12. The Spartans will compete in three tournaments in September and three in October.

They conclude October by hosting the Grandover Collegiate at the Grandover Resort on October 23 and 24. It will be the first of three tournaments hosted by UNCG, but the only one in Greensboro.

A major highlight is the Spartans will be competing locally in five of their six tournaments during the fall semester. They will participate in the Old Town Club Collegiate in Winston-Salem (September 27-28), Phoenix Invitational in Burlington (October 11-12), and the Wolfpack Intercollegiate in Raleigh (October 16-17).

The other two events the Spartans will host are the Advance Golf Partners Collegiate at the Hammock Greek Golf Club in Palm City, Florida (February 13-15) and the Dorado Beach Collegiate at the TPC Dorado Beach in Puerto Rico (February 27-March 1).

UNCG will play in three more tournaments before the Southern Conference championships at the Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro, Georgia from April 22-24. The NCAA Regionals will be contested from May 16-18 while the NCAA Championships will be hosted by Arizona State from May 27-June 1.
