GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's golf team and Head Coach
Terrance Stewart has added one newcomer in Lincoln Newton to the 2026-27 roster.
"Lincoln has a vast tournament background in amateur and pro tournaments," said Stewart. "That experience will serve him very well in college. He has won at all levels in his career, that championship mindset will allow him to compete in college from day one. We are thrilled to have Lincoln as a member of our golf family!"

- 2025 Triad Amateur Champion with rounds of 69-68
- 2024 Triad Amateur Champion with rounds of 70-67
- 2024 Mimosa Hils Junior Invitational Champion with rounds of 66-68
- Finished tied for 13th at the 2024 NC Men's Amateur (low junior golfer) 73-70-68-71
- Team finished third in 2024 State Finals
UNCG returns to the course in 2026 by hosting the Palmas del Mar Collegiate Feb. 8-10 in Humacao, Puerto Rico, at Palmas Del Mar Flamboyan.
