VERO BEACH, FLA. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's golf team concluded the Quail Valley Invitational on Monday, finishing in 14^th place at Quail Valley Golf Course in Vero Beach, Florida.

TEAM

• UNCG moved up one spot from the first and second rounds on Sunday, to earn a 14^th place finish on Monday.
• The Spartans carded an overall score of five-under-par (859) behind rounds of 286-293-280.
• The Spartans finished ahead of Indiana and Penn State in the 16-team tournament, respectively.
• Memphis won the tournament with a 28-under-par score (836).
• The Spartans recorded 56 birdies and 164 pars over the three rounds.

INDIVIDUAL

• Jake Lewis moved up 13 spots in the final round to finish on top for the Spartans in a tie for 24^th place. Lewis posted an overall score of four-under-par (212) behind rounds of 67-76-69.
• Lewis led the Spartans with one eagle and 36 pars.
• Kelvin Hernandez and B.J. Boyce both earned a tie for 36^th place with a one-under-par (215) score.
• Hernandez carded round scores of 70-74-71. Boyce notched 74-72 round scores on Sunday before returning to the field on Monday to record a three-under-par (69).
• Hernandez moved up 11 positions in third round, while Boyce moved up 28.
• Dax Isbell moved up 10 spots from the second round to finish tied for 62^nd place with a four-over-par (220). Isbell carded round scores of 76-73-71 over the three-round tournament.
• Will Guidry rounded out the scorecard for the Spartans to finish tied for 77^th place with an eight-over-par (859). Guidry recorded scores of 75-74-75 over the two days.
• Hernandez, Lewis and Boyce finished tied for third in the field with a 2.92 average on par three holes.
