GREENSBORO, N.C. – With two non-conference games remaining, the UNCG women's soccer team looks to capitalize on the schedule before heading into Southern Conference play. The Spartans host Campbell University Sunday, September 12 with a 7:00 p.m. start time at UNCG Soccer Stadium.
SENIOR SALUTE
Prior to the game, UNCG will recognize its 10 seniors that will conclude their collegiate careers this school year.
"Sunday is about us celebrating a great class of seniors," stated head coach
Michael Coll. "They are wonderful young women, they are great teammates, and they are exceptional individuals. I have never had any issues with any of them in their four years. It is a celebration of four great years of keeping Spartan soccer strong."

ABOUT THE SPARTANS
SPARTANS' LAST TIME OUT
- The UNC Greensboro women's soccer team played in its third overtime game of the season and third draw of the schedule in a 0-0 double overtime non-conference game against James Madison University Thursday night at UNCG Soccer Stadium.
- This was the third overtime game for the Spartans this season, and sixth overtime contest between James Madison and UNCG.
- Senior goalkeeper Aiyanah Tyler-Cooper registered nine saves.
SCOUTING CAMPBELL
- Jessica Donald leads the Fighting Camels with six points, including two goals and two assists. Elyssa Nowowieski is second on the team with two goals for four points.
- Four from Campbell have scored one goal each.
- Reaghan Duval has averaged 1.46 goals against in her five games played, making 19 saves with one shutout.
- Campbell has averaged 1.60 goals per game, while its opponents have averaged 2.00 goals per contest.
FIGHTING CAMELS' LAST TIME OUT
- Reagan Baiotto and Jackie Richards scored second-half goals and Campbell defeated Charlotte 2-0 Saturday night at the Eakes Athletic Complex.
- Reaghan Duval made three saves to earn her first shutout of the season in the nets for the Camels (2-2-1), who improved to 2-0-1 at home this season.
- Campbell finished with a 13-8 edge in shots and dealt the 49ers (3-1) their first setback of the year.
- Junior Laney Peabody, a first team United Soccer Coaches All-Southeast Region selection, was the lone Fighting Camel to earn preseason accolades as the coaches voted her 2021 Big South Preseason Defensive Player of the Year.
- Campbell, who is the reigning Big South Champion, was voted to finish second behind High Point in the Big South Preseason women's soccer poll.

- UNCG travels to Lynchburg, Virginia for its final non-conference game before conference play. The Spartans will battle Liberty University on Sunday, September 19 for a 1:00 p.m. afternoon contest.
- Campbell begins Big South Conference play as they travel to face High Point University on Saturday, September 18.
