GREENSBORO, N.C. - The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) volleyball's Taylor Robertson led the Spartans with eleven kills and six digs as the Spartans dropped a Saturday evening Southern Conference (SoCon) contest to Wofford, 3-0 (25-22, 25-20, 25-22).

How it Happened
Wofford maintained a three-point lead early in the first set before taking a 10-6 lead. After a UNCG point, the Terriers posted an eight-point rally to claim an 18-7 lead. The Spartans claimed three of the next four points to cut the deficit to nine. Wofford extended their lead to eleven, 23-12, but the Spartans mounted a six-point rally, led by two Robertson kills, to cut Wofford's lead to five. After Wofford drew set point, UNCG resumed with the next four points in a rally sparked by a Daija Jackson kill. UNCG shrunk the lead to two points, 24-22, before Wofford converted set point to win the first set.

Wofford started the second set with a 5-2 lead and then extended the lead to four, 8-4. UNCG then produced a 4-1 rally sparked by a kill and service ace from Robertson. Both sides traded points until the Spartans created a 3-1 rally to even the set, 12-12. Wofford regained the lead with a 5-1 rally before UNCG stopped the attack with a 4-2 response. Both sides traded points until Wofford led 21-19 when the Terriers produced a 4-1 rally to end the set.

Both sides traded three-point rallies to open the third set. Wofford produced a 4-1 rally in response and then extended their lead to four, 11-7. The Spartans capped the lead at four, 14-10, and then produced a 4-1 rally with three kills from UNCG hitters and a service ace from Avery Sziksai. That pulled the Spartans to within one point, 15-14. Both teams traded points before UNCG manufactured a 3-1 rally to tie the set, 19-19. UNCG created a new 3-1 rally after a Wofford response to claim a 21-20 lead. UNCG kept Wofford even, 22-22, but the Terriers posted a three-point rally in response to end the match.
