GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) volleyball team looks to stay on track hosting ETSU and Chattanooga on Friday and Saturday, respectively.

Both matches will be played at Fleming Gym. The Spartans will face the Buccaneers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday and play the Mocs on Saturday at 5:00 p.m.

- The Spartans defeated The Citadel 3-1 in Charleston, S.C.
- Taylor Robertson had a career and match best 19 kills.
- Daija Jackson was second on the team with 11 kills.
- Elayne Grisbee tallied a career-best four aces, also leading the match.
- She totaled a match-best five blocks.
- Gabriela McHugh recorded 34 assists and 10 digs for her 36th double-double of her career and sixth of the season.
- Ella Voegele saw her third match with 20-plus digs, tallying 23, to lead the match. This was her 14th match this season with double-digit digs.
TOURNAMENT AWARDS
- At the Spartan-Aggie Tournament (August 26-27), Mya Wood and Gabriela McHugh were named to the All-Tournament Team.
- Following the Tussle in the Triad Tournament (September 2-3), Taylor Robertson and Ella Voegele earned the honors.
- Robertson and Voegele also were named to the All-Tournament Team after the Aggie/Phoenix Volley for Unity Tournament.
- Robertson was most recently named to the Chucktown Throwdown All-Tournament Team.Â

UNCG was voted to finish sixth in the Southern Conference (SoCon) Preseason Coaches' Poll.

- ETSU was voted to finish third in the SoCon Preseason Coaches Poll.
- ETSU is the final SoCon team without a loss in conference play.
- The Buccaneers have won 10 of the last 11 matches and are riding a five-game winning streak, including the last four to open SoCon play.
- Senior middle blocker Lundyn Coffman won SoCon Defensive Player of the Week for the first time in her career.
- She has 51 blocks and 1.02 blocks per set – second best in the SoCon – while ranking third on the team in points at 121.5.
- Whitley Rammel has also won SoCon Defensive Player of the Week.
- ETSU has had a weekly award in each of the last four weeks.
- The Bucs are led by Briana Cantrell who is averaging 2.95 kills per set.

- The UNCG women's athletic teams have partnered with Living Beyond Breast Cancer (LBBC) for the month of October.
- LBBC is a national nonprofit organization that seeks to create a world that understands more than one way to have breast cancer.
- To fulfill its mission of providing trusted information and a community of support to those impacted by breast cancer, LBBC offers in-person experiences and on-demand content for those newly diagnosed, in-treatment, post-treatment, and living with metastatic disease.
