GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) volleyball team, who earned the ninth seed in the Southern Conference (SoCon) at the conclusion of the regular season will rematch the Furman Paladins who earned the eight seed on Monday, November 14 in Alley Gym.

UNCG, Furman, and The Citadel concluded the regular season in a three-way tie all with a 4-12 SoCon record. The Bulldogs earned the seventh seed after a the league's tiebreaker policy.

The Spartans and Paladins faced off twice during the regular season, where Furman defeated UNCG with scores of 3-0 and 3-1.

• UNCG sixth in the SoCon opponent hitting percentage (.211) and blocks per set (1.85).

• At the Spartan-Aggie Tournament (August 26-27), Mya Wood and Gabriela McHugh were named to the All-Tournament Team.
• Following the Tussle in the Triad Tournament (September 2-3), Taylor Robertson and Ella Voegele earned the honors.
• Robertson and Voegele also were named to the All-Tournament Team after the Aggie/Phoenix Volley for Unity Tournament.
• Robertson was most recently named to the Chucktown Throwdown All-Tournament Team.

• Grainne McGrath is sixth in the conference with a .284 hitting percentage.
• Mary Beth Headley, who leads the team, is sixth in kills per set in the conference averaging 3.13.
• Sarah Turner is eighth in the Conference averaging 6.11 assists per set.
• Kelsey Watkins leads the team with 1.10 blocks per set, which is second in the conference.
• Andrea Acevada has averaged 4.13 digs per set, while Lauren Haynes has tallied 3.25. Acevada is fifth in the conference, while Haynes is ninth.
• Furman is fourth in the SoCon in blocks per set as a team averaging 2.12.
• The Paladins are also fifth in the SoCon in digs per set averaging 15.40.
