GREENSBORO, N.C. – Even though the finish line is in sight, it's still so far away.

February has the fewest days of any month on the calendar. However, with nine crucial games crammed into 28 days, it will feel like the longest.

As the UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's basketball team prepares to welcome VMI for a huge contest Wednesday at the Greensboro Coliseum, it knows it wants to continue playing its best basketball as the conference tournament approaches, which is next month in Asheville.

The Spartans are in sixth place, a half-game behind the Keydets.

This week is not easy for UNCG, which hosts VMI and visits Furman. VMI and Furman are ranked first and second, nationally, in 3-pointers made per game. Let the fun begin.
