GREENSBORO, N.C. – It may be an unofficial holiday for many Americans because it's Super Bowl Sunday, but for the men's basketball teams from Mercer and UNC Greensboro (UNCG), it will be business as usual when they collide in a key Southern Conference clash.
 
The game from the Greensboro Coliseum will start at 3 p.m.
 
UNCG has won three straight games. Mercer has dropped three consecutive contests. The Bears defeated UNCG, 58-49, on Jan. 15 in Macon. 

Sunday's game is also the Ingles/Nexstar Southern Conference Game of the Week with Pete Yanity and Dean Keener on the call. The game will be broadcast live on television in the following markets WMYT/My 12 (Charlotte), WWCW/The CW Virginia (Lynchburg/Roanoke), and WYCW/The CW62 (Greenville/Spartanburg/Asheville).
 
The Spartans have been splendid during their three-game winning streak.
