GREENSBORO, N.C. – The top two scoring defenses in the Southern Conference clash when the UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's basketball team makes its annual visit to Chattanooga's McKenzie Arena Thursday night.
Chattanooga leads the SoCon in scoring defense as it allows 64.0 points per game. The Spartans are just as stingy, permitting 64.6 points per game. UNCG has held 12 opponents below 60 points this season.
UNCG and Chattanooga are also the top rebounding teams in the SoCon. The Spartans lead the conference (+5.4) and the Mocs are second (+4.9). In the first matchup of the teams on Jan. 20 in Greensboro, Chattanooga won the rebounding battle, 36-26.
