GREENSBORO, N.C.- The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) baseball team dropped the series finale against the Davidson Wildcats, 7-3, on Sunday afternoon in Truist Point Stadium.
In the eighth inning,
Mitchell Smith hit his first home run as a Spartan over the left-field wall to score the Spartan's second run.
Ethan McKay scored on a single from
Dallas Callahan.
UNCG tied the game in the fourth inning with an RBI bunt from
Matt Kemp to bring
Greg Hardison home.
Cam Noble earned his second start of the season. He pitched 2.1 innings and allowed three hits.
Hunter Shuey pitched three innings and struck out two.
Kross Robinson,
Price King, and
KJ Wells also made appearances on the mound.
Robinson and Wells struck out two batters. Wells pitched 1.1 innings and did not allow a hit.
