FINAL WORDS FROM COACH GODWIN
"We played a complete game. We swung the bat well and got a great start. We minimized freebies and you usually win when you do that. This is way we're capable of playing and we need to build off this and develop some consistency."
Â
On Austin Parsley
"He was outstanding. That's what he does. He comes in and has a chance to go deep in the game because he's a strike-thrower. To beat him, you have to hit him. He's not going to beat himself. HE's not going to beat himself by walking guys or hitting guys. He goes right at hitters and attacks them. He was very good for us today.
