GREENSBORO, N.C. – In celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Title IX, the UNC Greensboro (UNCG) Athletics department is sponsoring a Luncheon to Celebrate Women in Sports during Homecoming 2022.
 
The luncheon, which is free to attend and open to all, will be held in Fleming Gymnasium on Saturday, October 15 at 12:00 p.m. This event will highlight the history of women's athletics at UNCG and raise awareness for current programs.
 
The guest speaker for the luncheon will be former student-athlete Dr. Beverly Warren '70, President Emerita of Kent State University. Additionally, at the conclusion of the event, there will be an opportunity to support and directly impact Spartan female student-athletes.
 
In the days surrounding the luncheon, we will have other events, including athletic contests on campus, team alumni gatherings, and more, to bring excitement to UNCG Athletics.
