From Head Coach Corey Carlin
"We have to tip our hat to Samford. They out played us tonight. They played great defense and were better in transition for most of the match. We did respond well at the start of the third set after long stretches of inconsistent play in the second. Overall, they were just more consistent than we were from start to finish tonight. We'll watch the film, focus on keys to learn from this match, and get back to work on Monday."
Records:
- UNCG: 7-8, 1-1 SoCon
- Samford: 6-8, 1-1 SoCon
