VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's and women's track & field teams return to competition this Friday and Saturday as they send a group to the Marlins Invitational and Blue Marlins Invitational at the Virginia Beach Sports Center.
 
Meet/Facility History
  • This will be the first meet that the Spartans will be competing in at the Virginia Beach Sports Center this season.

This Season
  • This is the fifth and sixth indoor meets for the Spartans.
  • The men's and women's cross-country teams competed this fall and saw great results.
  • The Spartan women's squad saw six career bests among the 23 teams at the Mondo College Invitational last Saturday. The Blue & Gold saw McCaslin earn her second individual title of the season.
  • McCaslin crossed the finish line first in the 800m, clocking a time of 2:20.35, setting a career best and a Mondo College Invitational record.  
  • Reagan O'Quinn finished third in the 1000m race out of 35 competitors. She ran a time of 3:05.45. Sophomore Serena Henderson placed 10th running a personal best time of 3:16.58.
  • Out of the men, Owen McArthur, clocked his career best in the 60m with 7.84.
