PALM CITY, Fla. - The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's golf graduate student Nick Lyerly collected his eighth career individual victory as the Spartans finished the 54-hole tournament in second place Tuesday afternoon at the Spartans' Advance Golf Partners Collegiate at Hammond Creek Golf Club.

Lyerly posted a three-under-par (69) to win the tournament by seven strokes with a 54-hole total of 12-under-par (204). The graduate student recovered after an opening hole bogey with birdies in two of the next three holes on the par five, 504-yard second hole and the par four, 400-yard fourth. Lyerly holed out on the par four, 412-yard seventh hole to collect his second eagle of the tournament and finish the front nine at three-under-par (33). Lyerly completed the back nine unblemished at even par to claim the individual title.

The sophomore carded five birdies with three coming on par five holes including both par fives on the back nine. Finishing his round on the second hole, Brown carded a birdie to finish the front side at one-under-par (35).

Randall Hudson claimed a top-25 finish after a two-over-par (74) final round finish, placing in a tie for 24th place. The junior carded his lone birdie of the day on the par four, 454-yard 11th hole. Competing as an individual, Noah Connor's one-over-par (217) 54-hole total was the lowest among individual-only golfers. The senior placed 12th after a one-over-par (73) final round. Connor's two birdies came on par five holes with his first one the second and the final on his closing hole, the par five, 555-yard 17th.
