Noah Connor stands in second place after 36-holes of the 54-hole Aggie Invitational at Bryan Park's Champions Course. Hosted by North Carolina A&T, the Spartans are participating as individuals only.
Connor opened the morning portion of the first day with a one-over-par (73), which stood in a tie for tenth place in the field. The senior tamed the course in the afternoon's 18 holes, posting a three-under-par (69). That effort helped Connor jump eight spots on the leaderboard into second place at two-under-par (142). The second round effort was the second-lowest of the tournament, one shot off the current tournament-low. Connor stands just two shots off the tournament leader from Elon.
B.J. Boyce finished the day in a tie for fifth place with a 36-hole total of two-over-par (146). The freshman opened the day with an even-par (72) to finish the first round in a tie for fourth place. Boyce was one of nine golfers in the field to post even par or better in the first round. The freshman followed with a second round two-over-par (74) scorecard. Boyce settled into a tie for fifth place at two-over-par (146), six shots off the lead.
Parker Truesdale finished 36 holes 13-over-par (157), standing 31st in the field. The redshirt junior carded a second round four-over-par (76) to help him move up seven spots on the leaderboard.
