HOW IT HAPPENED
The Spartans held possession for most of the first half, including seeing four of their six shots in the first 14 minutes of play. At 14:39, UNCG was looking for the back of the net, but Coastal Carolina was called for a foul inside the 18-yard box to set up the Spartans for a penalty kick.

UNCG continued the offensive mindset into the second half, as

Maxwel De-Bodene each tallied a shot in the first nine minutes of action. In the 65
th minute, the Chanticleers responded to the Spartans' attack. Coastal Carolina maintained possession through its attacking half and pressured the Spartans. Kari Sigfussion fed the ball through the 18-yard box to find Doug Hainer who chipped the ball to the back left corner for the equalizer at 64:10.
UNCG had a great opportunity in the 70
th minute, as Marc took a free kick from outside the 18-yard box that the goalkeeper saved. Ten minutes later,
