GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) Intercollegiate Athletic Department and the Spartan Club hosted the 2024 Spiro's Ball on Thursday, May 16 at the Cadillac Service Garage in downtown Greensboro.  
 
The event provided those in person and online the chance to bid on over 120 items and experiences to support Spartan student-athletes. Those in person experienced the event with a professional auctioneer.
 
The event attracted 200 attendees and featured a plated meal, open bar, student-athlete speakers, a student jazz trio from the UNCG School of Music, and silent and live auctions. Recent graduate, men's golf student-athlete and Student-Athlete Advisory Committee President Parker Truesdale was the host, while rising senior Ava Romfo of the women's golf team was the student-athlete speaker.
 
In total, the event raised over $99,000, with all net proceeds going directly to the mission of the Spartan Club in supporting Spartan student-athlete scholarships.
