GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's tennis team will compete in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Carolina Regional, hosted by Duke from Thursday to Monday at Cary Tennis Park in Cary, North Carolina. The scheduled play is supposed to begin at 9:00 a.m. every day.  
 
COMPETING FOR UNCG 
Andrew Black, Tymofiy Khrystyuk, John Gabelic, William Elmers and Devon Moskowitz will be competing for the Spartans.  
 
SCOUTING THE SPARTANS 

• The Spartans have competed in three tournaments in the 2025 fall season. 

• UNCG began the fall campaign by traveling to the Elon Invitational from Sept. 12-14. 

• Doubles duo Sammy Presser and Alan Trbonja  led the squad with two doubles victories over the first two days, making it to the final round of the Invitational.  

• UNCG then hosted the Spartan Fall Invitational on Sept. 19-20 at UNCG Tennis Courts in Greensboro, North Carolina.  

• As a team, the Spartans won 20 singles matches over the three-day event.  

• Most recently UNCG took part in the Davidson Fall Invitational at Davidson Tennis Courts on Sept. 26-27. In the two-day event, Gabelic won all three matches played to win his draw. 

PREVIOUSLY AT THE ITA REGIONALS 
Alumni Luke Thomson with then juniors Gabelic and Khrystyuck competed last year.  Khrystyuck picked up a round one victory on the first day before losing in the next round.

The Spartans will compete in both The Southern Conference (SoCon) Masters Qualifiers and the Chattanooga Steve Baras Invite with both tournaments taking place on October. 24- 26 in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
