GREENSBORO, N.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's tennis team will conclude the fall slate at the Wake Forest Invitational from Friday to Sunday in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, at Wake Forest Tennis Center. 
 
COMPETING FOR UNCG AT THE WAKE FOREST INVITE 
Andrew Black, William Elmers, John Gabelic, Tymofiy Khrystyuk, Eric Lindemann, Devon Moskowitz, Sammy Presser and Alan Trbonja will be competing for the Spartans.

UNCG, Cleveland State, Duke, Elon, ETSU, Georgia Southern, James Madison, NC A&T, South Carolina, Virginia, Wake Forest. 
SCOUTING THE SPARTANS   
  SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS: 
Cleveland State: The Vikings are coming off a 13-12 season where they went undefeated in regular season Horizon League play. Although losing in the conference finals, they returned seven players with four of them being seniors.  
Duke: The Blue Devils went 19-9 in regular season play last year, making the NCAA Team Championships before losing in the second round to No. 14 Tennessee. Duke looks to continue its momentum from last week, where in the ITA Regionals, as one doubles group made the Round of 16.  
Elon: The Phoenix came into this matchup already facing the Spartans earlier in the fall slate at the Elon Invitational. Where they took the only match, they played 5-7, 5-7. Elon comes into Invitationals with eight returners following an 11-8 record last year.  
ETSU: SoCon foe ETSU comes into this year after a 13-7 record last year and a 6-1 conference record. They return all eight players from last year's squad and have matched up against the Spartans three times, twice in doubles and once in singles, losing all three matches.  
Georgia Southern: The Eagles come into this year after an 18-7 record and a 7-1 mark in the Sun Belt after the 2025 campaign. Georgia Southern lost in the Sun Belt Championship match to No. 1 seed Old Dominion, 2-4. The roster is welcomed with four true freshmen on the roster.  
James Madison: JMU enters this year after a 7-12 record in the 2025 season. The Dukes are led by senior Esteve Agusti, who is one of the premier players in the Sun Belt ranking No. 9 in Atlantic Region, doubles rankings, according to ITA tennis.  
NC A&T: The Aggies went 14-6 last year, they come into the 2026 season with six returners on the roster.  
South Carolina: The Gamecocks are coming off of 13 combined wins in the ITA Regionals last week. South Carolina is coming off a season where they went 21-8 and a Super-Regional appearance in the NCAA tournament.  
Virginia: The Cavaliers finished the season ranked No. 7 in the nation following a 23-8 record and a NCAA Quaterfinal appearance before losing to No. 2 TCU.  
Wake Forest: The Demon Deacons are coming off a 2025 National Title, their second in program history, with a 40-1 record last season. Wake Forest will look to repeat as nine players return to the team while adding two newcomers. `
