SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) volleyball team earned the fifth seed and will face the fourth-seeded Chattanooga Mocs in the Quarterfinal round of The Southern Conference (SoCon) Tournament on Friday, Nov. 21 at 10:30 a.m. at the Harrah's Cherokee Center in Asheville, North Carolina.
 
The ETSU Buccaneers won the SoCon Regular Season Title and claimed the top seed in the 2025 Ingles SoCon Volleyball Championship. The tournament will be held Nov. 20-23, in Asheville, North Carolina, at Harrah's Cherokee Center - Asheville.
 
The tournament, which features all nine teams in the conference, begins with a first-round contest on Nov. 20, when Western Carolina faces The Citadel, at 4:00 p.m.
   
Fourth-seeded Chattanooga will clash with UNCG, the No. 5 seed, in the first match on Friday at 10:30 a.m. UNCG won the two matches in the regular season, besting the Mocs in four sets on Oct. 3, and winning via sweep on Nov. 1.

The semifinal round of the tournament will be held on Saturday, Nov. 22, with matches scheduled for 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., before the tournament culminates at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 23, with the championship match.
 
A win over the Mocs on Friday would move UNCG on to face the winner of the No. 1 ETSU vs. No. 8 Western Carolina/No. 9 The Citadel on Saturday, Nov. 22 at 4:00 p.m.
