United Soccer Coaches Announces NCAA Division I All Americans
KANSAS CITY, MO. – Junior forward Enzo Dovlo of the UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's soccer team was named to the United Soccer Coaches 2025 NCAA Division I Men's Soccer All-America Third Team, announced Friday by the organization.
This is the latest honor for Dovlo, who enjoyed a fantastic year in leading the Spartans to The Southern Conference (SoCon) Tournament Championship game, a Division I NCAA Tournament run to the Sweet Sixteen and an All-SoCon First Team award.
This year's All-Americans will be recognized for their accomplishments at the United Soccer Coaches All-America Ceremony & Reception on Saturday, Jan. 17, 2026, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in conjunction with the United Soccer Coaches Convention.
This is the 25th time that UNCG men's soccer has had a name on the United Soccer Coaches All-American list. The last Spartan to earn the recognition was JC Ngando in 2022 as he earned First Team honors after leading the Spartans to the Elite Eight.
Dovlo started and played in all 23 games this season, assisting the Spartans to a 12-5-6 overall record and a 3-2 SoCon mark. The Spartans advanced to the SoCon Tournament Championship game before losing in double overtime to Furman, 1-0, on Nov. 16. UNCG earned its 11th bid to the NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Tournament, as an at-large selection. This was the Blue & Gold's third at-large selection with the two previous beingin 1998 and 2004.
Dovlo finished first on the team with 28 points, scoring 10 goals and leading the team with eight assists. The French striker secured a hat-trick against VCU on Aug. 24 to earn SoCon Offensive Player of the Week in the inaugural week of the 2025 campaign. In the postseason, Dovlo scored one goal with two assists as well as going 2-for-2 in penalty kick attempts.
Among the SoCon, Dovlo finished second in total goals, total points and shots on goal per game while also being third in total assists. Among Division I, he is currently 17th in total points, 22nd in total assists, 28th in total goals and 30th in shots on goal per game.
In the NCAA Tournament first round, UNCG tied Triad rival Elon in the first round and advanced 4-3 in penalty kicks. The Spartans then drew at No. 2 Virginia in the second round, 2-2, and clutched the victory after a 4-3 result in penalty kicks. The win at Virginia was UNCG's highest ranked win on the road DI history. However, UNCG's magical run ended in the Sweet Sixteen round with a 2-0 loss at No. 15 NC State.
