DORADO, PUERTO RICO – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's golf team stands in second place after the opening round of the Dorado Beach Collegiate, while B.J. Boyce paces the player leaderboard on Sunday at TPC Dorado Beach.

TEAM

• UNCG carded a one-over-par (289) in the first round of the three-day tournament to be in second place.
• Elon is pacing the 15-team leaderboard after recording an even-par (288) first round score.
• Stetson and George Mason are trailing the Spartans in a tie for third place with a two-over-par (290).
• UNCG is pacing the field in par three averages (3.00) and pars (62).
• The Spartans are second in par four averages (4.06).  

INDIVIDUAL

• Boyce is pacing the 93-player leaderboard after notching a three-under-par (69) in the opening round. This marks the fifth time this season Boyce has recorded a round score below 70.
• Jake Lewis, Keenan Royalty and Liam Percy are tied for 17^th place after the trio carded a one-over-par (73) on Sunday.
• Kelvin Hernandez is tied for 27^th place with a two-over-par (74) in round one.
• Dax Isbell follows in behind with a three-over-par (75) to sit tied for 38^th place.
• Will Guidry recorded a four-over-par (74) in round one to be in a tie for 48^th place.
• Cole Isbell rounds out the scorecard for the Spartans, sitting tied for 70^th place with a seven-over-par (79) in round one.
• Boyce and Lewis are tied for second in the field with a 2.75 average on par three holes.
• Percy is second after round one with a 3.80 average on par four holes.
• Royalty paces the tournament with a 4.00 average on par five holes and is second with six birdies.
