GREENSBORO, GA. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's golf team currently sits tied for ninth place after round one of the Linger Longer Invitational on Friday at Reynolds Plantation.

TEAM

• UNCG carded a three-under-par (285) in the first round to be tied with Charlotte for ninth place.
• Host school Georgia is pacing the 18-team leaderboard with a 21-under-par (267) first round score.
• The Spartans are pacing South Alabama, South Florida, Jacksonville, Louisiana Tech, Wofford, Rutgers and West Georgia, respectively.
• UNCG is second in the field with 60 pars in round one. The squad is tied for seventh with a 4.70 average on par five holes.

INDIVIDUAL

• Kelvin Hernandez and B.J. Boyce are pacing the Spartans in a tie for 13^th place after they both recorded a three-under-par (69) in the opening round. 
• In the first round, Hernandez posted one eagle, two birdies and 14 pars. He is pacing the field with a perfect 4.00 average on par four holes.
• Dax Isbell followed in behind with an even-par (72) to be tied for 43rd place.
• Liam Percy and Jake Lewis are both tied for 79^th place with a three-over-par (75) in the first round.
• Competing as an individual, Will Guidry is tied for 90th with a four-over-par (76).
• Grayson Wood of Georgia sits atop the 108-player leaderboard with a seven-under-par (65) first round.
