DURHAM, NC –The UNC Greensboro men's soccer team fell to the Duke Blue Devils, 3-1, in the Big four Tournament Friday night at Koskinen Stadium. The loss drops UNCG to 7-5-2 on the season, while Duke improves to 6-8-1.

Danny Kramer recorded a goal and an assist, and Blake Camp was credited with two assists to lead the Blue Devils to their fourth consecutive victory. Kramer scored his first goal of the season on an assist from Camp and freshman Danny Miller to give Duke a 1-0 lead in the 15th minute. Nigi Adogwa's header into the left corner of the net on assists from Kramer and senior Matt Ahumada made it a 2-0 game at the 19:07 mark.

UNCG had a chance to cut the Duke lead to 2-1 in the final seconds of the first half, but a shot by Scott Jones from just in front of the net was saved by defender Ahumada after goalkeeper Justin Trowbridge had come out of the goal.

Duke held a 2-0 lead at halftime, but UNCG battled back in the second half. The Spartans out-shot the Blue Devils, 9-5, after halftime and cut Duke's lead to 2-1 when Randi Patterson sent the ball into the left corner of the net at 57:56. Danny Wymer scored an insurance goal for the Blue Devils in the 77th minute. Camp fed the ball to Chris Loftus on the left side of the box. Wymer took a cross from Loftus and scored his second goal in as many games to increase the Duke lead to 3-1.

Trowbridge kept the feisty Spartans from getting any closer as he recorded five saves, including three in the second half.
