TOLEDO, OH – Hilary Overby had a pair of double-figure kill matches, including a double-double in the second match of the day, but it wasn't enough as UNC Greensboro dropped a pair of matches at the Clarion Hotel Westgate Rocket Classic Saturday. The Spartans lost in three straight games to Oakland in the morning, and the fell in four games to Wisconsin-Green Bay Saturday evening.

In the first match against Oakland, Overby had 11 kills and 12 digs for her first double-double of the season. Ashley Smith, a freshman from Carlton, MI, added 11 kills. Oakland was led by Erin Palmer and Sara Miller's 13 kills each.

Overby had 14 kills and seven digs against Wisconsin-Green Bay. The sophomore from Spring, TX hit .433 for the match. Alysia Rosvold, a freshman from Kingwood, TX, also added a double-double with 13 kills and 11 digs. It was Rosvold's fourth double-double this season. However, it was not enough to off-set three double-figure kill performances by the Phoenix, led by Leslie Kuhn's 14.

Spartans (1-9) will play their home opener on Wednesday night against High Point beginning at 7 p.m.
