GREENSBORO, N.C. – On Saturday, UNCG wrapped up competition at the Aggie Invite, staying close to home on the campus of North Carolina A&T.
Patrick O'Grady (Rosewell, Ga./Blessed Trinity) highlighted the meet with a fourth-place finish in the 1,500 meters, timing in at 4:10.13. Robert Anderson (Aberdeen, N.C./Pinecrest) finished close behind, taking 10th in 4:29.95.
On the women's side of the 1,500 meters, Sarah DeSantis (Hope Mills, N.C./South View) placed ninth after crossing the finish line in 5:24.15.
In the 4x100 meter relay the women's team of Amber Dickens (Washington, D.C./Friendship Collegiate), Nautica Friday, Alexis Rice (Charlotte, N.C./Ardery Kell) and Antonia Smith placed seventh in 51.09, while Kimberly Shaver, Mikkayla Hailey (Monroe, N.C./Central Academy of Technology & Arts), Anna Habich and Sonja Espinosa took ninth in 56.13.
The men's squad of Palmer Dupree (Charlotte, N.C./Hickory Ridge), Jeffrey Beane (Asheboro, N.C./Asheboro), Matthew Garr (King, N.C./West Stokes) and Quin Lema (Pembroke, Bermuda/Montverde Academy) placed 13th with a time of 44.51.
